Mark Aroner, a nationally known custom fly rod craftsman in Greenfield, Massachusetts says it never once occurred to him to hire a commercial photographer to help present his product. That is, until the day came he heard he was going to be featured in a book - and providing a photo to accompany the story was up to him.
We needed a photograph of the dam to the north of our plant, and Lewis had done aerial photos for us in the past, as well as photographs of our personnel in the plant according to Albert Sheridan, Plant Manager at Veratec, division of International Paper. The assignment called for the shoot, proofs and four 8x10 prints from a selected negative. When I saw the proofs I wanted to print them all. We settled on prints of six images.
For Paul Bennet, an Amherst manufacturer of high tech instrumentation, the sudden need for fast and affordable professional photograpy came the day his company launched forth on its own- leaving the parent firm, and all its nice shiny literature, behind. Both called me, Lewis Becker.
They say, today, they would never think of calling anyone else.
It sounds like a cliche, but Lewis Becker does a really fine job, does it very fast, and charges reasonable rates, says Bennet, if you've been in business any length of time, you know there's not much else you could possibly ask for.
Our area is full of people like yourself, starting up, starting over, introducing new products and services both to the region and the world-and I'd like to help. I have more than a decade of experience working with local business people, artists, crafts people, musicians, retailers, manufacturers and construction firms, among others.
If you live and work in Western Massachusetts, you can almost bet on it, your day will come--and I'll be just a phone call away.
